ABOUT THE ROLE

 

We have an immediate opportunity for an organised individual to oversee projects within the Infrastructure and Services section of the Recovery, Rebuilding and Resilience Program. The projects include; make safe and restoration works associated with disaster impacted infrastructure.

 

As the Project Officer, you will assist in the development and management of infrastructure and services whilst monitoring budget expenditure and completing relevant progress reports. You will be proficient in maintaining records, registers and statistics and be able to research and prepare written correspondence related to the position accountabilities.

 

ABOUT YOU

 

We are seeking a motivated individual who holds a Diploma-level qualification in Project Management (or related discipline) and has the ability to demonstrate high-level project management skills, including the ability to work independently and complete multiple projects within the set budget and timeframe.

 

You will have the following qualifications and experience;

  • Demonstrated knowledge of budget and resource management processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in engaging with and managing consultants, subcontractors and construction staff.
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to negotiate.
  • A minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience.
  • Current NSW C Class Drivers Licence

This is a fixed term (2 year) full-time position working 35 hours per week. Remuneration is $1393.60 per week, plus 9.5% employer superannuation contribution.
